Information on the examination

Please note that no applications for accreditation (recognition) can be processed ten days before and after the written examination.


Written examination

DICTIONARIES:

You can use an English-English dictionary for the written exam.
You must bring your own dictionary.
You cannot share a dictionary with someone else.
REGISTRATION

You cannot register on the day of the exam. If you are not on the registration list, you cannot be admitted to the exam. Regular registration ends three working days before the written examination.


Oral examination

If you have registered for the UNIcert III English for Cultural Sciences exam on viaCampus, you will be contacted directly via your university email by the English lectorate and informed about the next steps. This email will also describe how you can register for an appointment for the oral exam via Moodle. You will also receive the topics available for selection. For the exam, you must choose ONE topic and prepare to argue for or against your chosen statement.
You should prepare to support your arguments (10-15 minutes). The rest of the exam consists of a discussion with the examiners.
You can use notes during the oral exam, but you cannot read text. You cannot use a laptop or an overhead projector.
